Where do you ship?

We ship worldwide! Shipping is free on orders above USD 200 for Hong Kong, and free worldwide for orders above USD 250. Shipping for all orders will be calculated at checkout at flat rates per region.

How long does it take to ship my order?

We aim to process orders within 5 business days (excluding public holidays). Please note that Saturdays, Sundays, and Hong Kong public holidays are not considered business days, and all processing follows the Hong Kong calendar and local time (HKT). During peak periods like sales or promotions, there might be delays due to the high volume of orders. See below for Estimated Delivery Times.


International Shipping

We currently partner with SF Express & Hong Kong Post to ship worldwide efficiently and reliably. Shipping rates will be calculated at checkout, and are based on flat rates per region. Orders of USD 250 or more (4 bags or more) qualify for free shipping.

Estimated Delivery Times:

  • Hong Kong: 2–3 business days

  • Asia: 5–7 business days

  • USA & Canada: 7–14 business days

  • Europe: 7–14 business days

  • Rest of the World: 10–20 business days, depending on location.

Delivery within Hong Kong

For deliveries within Hong Kong (HKSAR):

  • Free Shipping: Enjoy free shipping within Hong Kong on orders of 3 or more bags / USD 200.

  • Flat Rate: A flat shipping fee of USD 5 applies for orders of 1 or 2 bags.

  • Delivery Time: Orders are typically delivered within 2–3 business days via SF Express.

  • Note: For expedited services or special requests, please contact us directly. If you would like to arrange in-person pick-up, please message us directly.

Delivery to Mainland China

We use SF Express for all orders to Mainland China, charged at a flat rate. Please note that all shipments to China are sent on a Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) basis:

  • Customs or import duties will be charged once the parcel reaches its destination country, and these fees must be covered by the customer.

  • Customers are responsible for completing any customs or import procedures. For more details, please refer to the SF Express website.

Tracking Your Order

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with the tracking information. If you have any questions about this, email us at store@kriyalightning.org.

Can I change my shipping address after placing an order?

Please contact us immediately at store@kriyalightning.org with the Subject [Made of Lightning Order #(Your Order Number Here) - Shipping Address Change] if you need to make changes. Changes cannot be guaranteed once the order has been shipped.

Customs Duties & Taxes

For international orders, please be aware that products shipped outside of Hong Kong may be subject to customs duties, taxes, and fees imposed by the destination country. These additional charges are not included in our product prices and must be covered by the customer. As the importer of record, you are responsible for all duties, taxes, and fees. Made of Lightning has no control over these charges and is not responsible for any duties or taxes imposed by the destination country.


EU Customers:

Import taxes and duties will be calculated for orders in certain regions and will be displayed during checkout under the "Taxes" and "Duties" fields. Your order will be delivered DDP (Delivered Duty Paid). If you have any questions, please contact us at store@kriyalightning.org for assistance.


RETURNS

General Terms

Goods are eligible for exchange provided that the merchandise is still in “sellable condition.” “Sellable condition” means that the merchandise is returned in its original packaging with all original labels, garment tags, price tags, return tags, certificates, warranties, care instructions, product labeling, authenticity cards, and boxes intact and returned together with the merchandise. Merchandise must be unworn, unused, unwashed, unaltered, and in the condition originally sold, and the merchandise must not be damaged in any way.

The decision as to whether the merchandise is in “sellable condition” remains within Made of Lightning’s sole discretion, and decisions shall be final.


Delivery

Orders will be fulfilled within 5-10 business days (excluding public holidays). Please allow extra processing time during holiday seasons, promotional periods, and for special items.

If a customer fails to accept delivery (due to failed delivery attempts or refusal by the recipient), the parcel will automatically ship back to Made of Lightning, and the return shipping fees will be the responsibility of the customer. The cost of return shipping is $20 USD (flat rate). For processing purposes, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your order. Shipping fees will not be refunded. Made of Lightning reserves the right to make the final decision on all cases.


Returns and exchanges

If you would like an exchange due to a defect, it must be requested within 14 days of delivery, as indicated by the customer’s tracking number. Made of Lightning will not accept any returned merchandise without prior written communication via email and authorised confirmation.

Return shipping

All charges incurred as the result of an exchange or return (e.g., shipping, duties, and taxes) are the customer’s responsibility. In the case of an exchange, the customer will be required to pay an additional re-shipping fee. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the accuracy and correctness of the shipment and to ensure that the product(s) are packaged and delivered intact, unworn, and in original purchased condition (“sellable condition”). If any matters of liability arise, the matter will be dealt with and settled directly between the seller and the customer. The terms and conditions of the respective seller will apply.

Exchanges

Upon inspection and approval, exchanges or store credit will be provided. Returns are issued in the form of store credit only—no cash refunds. All sale items, discounted, and promotional merchandise, including any discount/promo codes used, are final and are ineligible for return or exchange. Made of Lightning does not accept or assume any responsibility for loss of or damage to returned goods while in transit from the customer. It is strongly recommended that customers use a reputable form of logistics with a tracking number. Made of Lightning will not accept any returned merchandise without prior written communication via email.

Refunds

In special cases where refunds are authorized by Made of Lightning, they must be communicated and confirmed via email. Once your return has been accepted, we will immediately process reimbursement with a confirmation email. The time needed to process your refund may vary based on the payment method used. Made of Lightning will not accept any returned merchandise without prior written communication via email.

Sale items

All promotional & sale items sold are final. No returns, refunds, or exchanges will be accepted. Please make sure to review your order before purchasing any of these items. Exceptions may be made if the item is defective or arrives damaged - in which case, please contact Made of Lightning within 14 days of delivery.


Damaged goods

For damaged goods, you may submit an exchange request by contacting our team at store@kriyalightning.org. Please allow at least 10 to 15 business days for your return to be processed by our warehouse personnel. Please note: we operate within the Hong Kong calendar and local time (HKT). For special releases and sale items, the number of processing days for damaged goods may be subject to change.


Cancellations

Orders may be canceled prior to shipping confirmation (excluding promotional, sale, special release, and collaboration items). If you would like to cancel an online order after it has been placed, please contact us via email at store@kriyalightning.org with the subject [Made of Lightning Order (Your Order No. Here) - Cancellation]. Please note that cancellation is not guaranteed if the order has already been shipped. Made of Lightning reserves the right to make the final decision on all cases.

Eligibility to purchase

To shop with us, you need to meet Made of Lightning’s terms of eligibility:

  • You must have a credit or debit card or PayPal account that we accept (please see ‘Payment terms’ for types of payment accepted).

  • You must be authorized to use that credit or debit card (e.g., it is in your name, or you have permission to use it).

  • Provide personal and payment details that are warranted by you to be both valid and accurate (email address, real name, phone number, billing information, and other requested information as indicated on the site).

By ordering with Made of Lightning, you authorize us to process a charge on your credit card in the amount of the total purchase. You also expressly authorize us to use the personal information provided by you to perform appropriate anti-fraud checks, such as credit checks. Agreement to the use of third-party services like PayPal will be subject to vetting and fraud checks where Made of Lightning reserves the right to refuse a sale.

Made of Lightning reserves the right to make the final decision on all cases.


Payment

We accept payments made by Visa, Mastercard, JCB, PayPal, Apple Pay and American Express. All payment methods must be registered with an accurate billing address or will be deemed a high-risk purchase, and orders will be canceled immediately. By placing an order with the payment methods available at Made of Lightning, your card will be charged in USD / HKD, and you confirm that the payment methods used are yours or that you have been authorized by the owner to use them. We only accept your order once payment has been approved and we have debited the payment card. If your card issuer refuses to authorize the payment to Made of Lightning, we are not liable for non-delivery or delays.
